i. Who were they?
They were Thai boys of a junior football team that trapped in the Thailand cave. They were 12 boys and a coach and are members of local football junior team named Wild Boars. Their ages are between 11 to 17 years, and their older assistant coach age was 25 years. These members were blocked in the cave due to flood and heavy rain after they entered the cave on 23 June 2018 (Agence, 2018). These boys went on an exploring venture and dramatically trapped in a cave underneath a mountain. Their dramatic rescue and rescue bid gripped the attention of the entire world.

ii. Why did they go into the cave?
They go the cave the sake of exploring the cave. They planned to arrange a birthday party in the cave after they finish their football practice. Only a 13 years old boy picked-up after the football practice and rest of the team went for exploring the caves in Mae Sai district. They also spend a valuable amount of money to buy food for the party (Rescue, 2018).
The team was standing in the tunnel, and due to continuing rainfall, they entered the cave. The rain becomes heavy and takes the form of a flood that inclines them to leave some of their food supplies behind for fleeing in the raising water (Olarn & Said-Moorhouse, 2018). After park administration has found mud bicycles, the rescue operation started but suspended on 24th June due to rising water level.  On 25th June water pumps were used to remove water and on 27th June international rescue teams and U.S. military arrive to rescue the team (Morris, 2018).
iii. Who were the major figures in the government & international community responding to the event?
Many volunteers, military specialists and corporate experts from both the government and international community have responded to the event. However significant figures were included Ben Reymenants from Belgium who contributed in cave driving capacity. Erik Brown from Canada, Mikko Paasi driver from Finland, has participated in the driving for the rescue. Above all, Elon Musk, Tesla chief executive helps the rescue effort with designing kid-size submarine with an effort of his engineers (NEWS, 2018).
iv. What did Elon Musk propose?
On July 7th, 2018 Elon Musk has proposed a highly technical rescue for the 12 Thai boys lost in the cave on his Twitter account. He suggested the relief of kids with a tiny kids-size submarine that was his orbital rocket. His hardworking engineers complete the submarine within eight hours (Bloomberg, 2018).
